‘Twas the night before the Inauguration, and it was time for Arab
Americans to celebrate. Many Arab Americans from all across the
country have been pledging their support for Barack Obama since the
beginning of his presidential campaign.
On
Monday night at the Arab American Inaugural Celebration, they were
only hours away from seeing their hard work pay off and hoping their
dreams of a brighter America will come true.
Many who attended the ball believe that Barack
Obama will create better relations between the United States and the
Middle East. They were excited that since Obama is a man of color he
will understand and be sensitive to minority groups like theirs.
The Arab American Inaugural Celebration was hosted
by the Arab American Institute.
