This morning, Gingrich spoke to Rotary Club members at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa. He zeroed in on the economy and tax cuts. When he talked about bringing the country out of debt and restoring economic faith, he promised, “I’m going to remain positive.”

Of the 100 rotary members who were there, about one fifth were young people of voting age. Gingrich told them he was going to preserve and promote hopes, dreams and values that would benefit them.

“The young people who are here is really what this is all about… We ought to run campaigns that are worthy of the children.”
