Ron Paul is trying to sway undecided voters. And he’s using his position on foreign policy to do that. “Why don’t we encourage people to think about foreign policy under the golden rule? Don’t do anything to any other country that we don’t want them to do to us.”
Today at a town hall meeting in Perry, Iowa Paul told voters he plans to cut the budget by one trillion dollars in his first year by limiting spending overseas. But voters are still considering their options.
Lynn Jacobsen is undecided but is trying to meet as many candidates as she can before the Iowa caucus. “A lot of my peers are thinking the same thing that we are. Everybody has some stellar credentials in different areas. We’re just trying to figure it out before the election on Tuesday who that person is that who we’re going to cast our ballot for.”
But the candidates are running out of time. Tomorrow Paul is hosing town hall meetings in LeMars, Sioux Center, and Sioux City.
