Rick Santorum is racing to the finish line. He met with voters at the National Sprint Car Museum in Iowa for a quick, last-minute meet and greet before Tuesday’s Caucuses.

Santorum has been to all 99 counties in Iowa, and this was not his first time in Marion County. The revisit was a chance to get more intimate with voters.

“He seems to be a more honest, down to earth guy than some of the others,” said Woodrow Spaur from Bussy. “It’s been a real pleasure. He takes time to talk to you.”

After Santorum’s recent spike in Iowa polls, voters are confident he can win.

“Santorum will walk all over Obama,” said one attendee,  Al Bregar. “Santorum can get up there and give a speech debate without a teleprompter. Obama couldn’t talk his way out of a wet paper bag without a teleprompter.”

Santorum arrived late, spoke briefly and only answered a few audience questions.
