It has been an cold, early morning for the parade goers at 9th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Lynn Nolan drove in from Philadelphia late last night and woke up at 4AM to get a prime spot for the parade. But Nolan and her husband were not only eager to see the president. Their son will be riding a horse with the US Park Police in front of President Obama’s motorcade.
“I can’t decide who I’m more excited to watch in the parade. I’m cold and tired, but I’m excited.”
The parade is expected to start at 2:30 PM and will include at least 60 groups. The high temperature is not likely to exceed 41 degrees
