Sports Allowed from June 1st in Karnataka, without Spectators!

Karnataka will become the first big State to Open Sports with Minister CT Ravi making the announcement that apart from Swimming, Boxing and Kabaddi, all other sports can resume from June 1st without spectators in the Stadium. Organisers are accountable to ensure proper screening and adherence to Social Distancing Norms.

Karnataka has taken this bold decision because Cases in Karnataka and specifically Bangalore have not grown as fast as rest of the Country. Still, there are some risks. Cases have almost doubled in 10 days and this is only likely to get worse as the State opens again

While the State opens up, it needs to be seen how many Citizens will take risks when the Virus is still active.
