Chinese Newspaper Confirms Chinese Soldiers Killed in Clash with India

Indian and Chinese troop engaged in a clash yesterday night, 15th June in Galwan valley. It is reported that 2 soldier and an Commanding officer in Indian army was killed. However, there has been casualties reported on the Chinese side too.

Many unofficial confirmation of 5 Chinese soldiers including an officer killed in clash has been doing round in Social media and Main stream media. It is also reported that 11 Chinese soldiers have been brutally injured. However, there were no official confirmation of it from Chinese side.

Chinese leading newspaper Global times Chinese and English editions Editor-in-Chief, Hu Xijin confirmed the report of casualties on the Chinese end. However, he did not mention the exact number but was quick to threaten India to not to take advantage of China.

Based on what I know, Chinese side also suffered casualties in the Galwan Valley physical clash. I want to tell the Indian side, don’t be arrogant and misread China’s restraint as being weak. China doesn’t want to have a clash with India, but we don’t fear it.
