Google: COVID spells trouble for Mamata’s 2021 chances

BJP’s aggressive attacks on Mamata plus PM Modi’s constant media presence has worked. In the last 45 days, BJP has increased its lead online over Trinamool in Bengal. Further, newest data from Bengal shows that Bengal is the only state where the death rate has gone up over the last 2 weeks, probably due to better reporting now. An increased lead does not mean BJP will win Bengal but it does mean that its chances have improved. Lots of other issues (Like Leadership and Fear) to be resolved in Bengal before it can win that State.
