India’s Most Wanted Dawood Ibrahim Tests Positive for Coronavirus?

Major news outlets are reporting that the underworld don responsible for 1993 bomb blast Dawood Ibrahim has tested positive for Coronavirus. It is reported that he along with his wife tested positive for Coronavirus. He is believed to have been admitted in Karachi Military Hospital.

After the reports of him being infected with Coronavirus spread, his guards have been quarantined. Karachi has been one of the major Coronavirus hotspots in Pakistan. The exact number of cases is still not clear, however if the reports are to be believed there has been rapid growth in Coronavirus cases in Karachi. 

Indian Media often tends to speculate such news and it is best that this news be treated with a pinch of salt

The mastermind behind Mumbai blast 1993, Dawood Ibrahim fled India after killing hundreds of innocent people in Mumbai. Born in Dongri in Mumbai, he was designated as global terrorist by United States in 2003. He and his wife Mehjabeen Shaikh has been reportedly admitted to Pakistan’s Military Hospital. It must be noted that Pakistan has reportedly declined the presence of Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim in Pakistan.

As of today, Pakistan has reported 89249 Coronavirus positive cases. Total deaths in the country is reported to more than 1800. It’s Prime Minister, PM Imran Khan, on several occasions have requested international communities like World Bank and IMF to bail them out and help them with financial assistance at the time of Global Pandemic. Sindh Province is the most affected province in Pakistan followed by Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Capital city Islamabad has reported around 3544 positive cases till date.
